Dear, Our Brazilian Friends,

Hi, my name is Bailey and I’m in Mrs.Brachbill’s 5th grade class and I think it is so cool that you guys are trying to make a difference in your environment. In our arboretum we have about 50 trees. We are having a Nest Project and we have about 15 nests around our school and in our arboretum. Everyone is paired up in groups of 2 and 3 people. As you can, see we are doing a lot of projects this year. The pictures we drew of ourselves we did in the beginning of the year. We are happy to keep in touch with you. My mom has a good friend from Brazil.
             Love,
             Your Friend,
             Bailey

Hi, I think it is cool that you guys are trying to help your environment. Keep at it. You can make a difference. In the trees in our arboretum we have found robin nests and a couple of doves nests. Doves and robins are very popular in this area. I hope your arboretum will grow full of many new trees and that your goals for the arboretum are met. When we first started this arboretum we had goals and now that all of our goals are met, especially the one we made to have a chipped path that we just finished we are making new ones. I wish you and your arboretum the best.

         Sincerely,

         Lesley

P.S I have shorter hair now.
 Brooke From Brooke

Dear Brazilian Friends,

My name is Brooke. I love the idea of planting trees. You are doing a great thing for the Earth. Planting trees is a good way to show people that they need to take care of the environment.

  Sincerely,

  Brooke

Kenzie  From Kenzie

Dear Friends in Brazil,

Hi, my name is Kenzie. I am 11 years old, I’m in 5th grade and in Mrs.Brachbill’s (Nancy) class. I love seeing your pictures. Your trees look nice. Do you know how many trees you have? I think we have about 50 trees! But they are not very big trees. It is a lot of fun in the arboretum, getting to run around and look at nature. I love to look at nature and help nature, the more we help, the more we have. We have a lot of fun with our arboretum and I hope you have fun, too!

P.S That picture of me I drew (I draw bad), so I’m not made of crayon, I look a bit different. Now my hair is a little shorter.

Your U.S.A friend,

 Kenzie!
